Panjara

Panjara is an ornamental window grate that can be seen on buildings in the countries of Central Asia and the Middle East. We have analyzed the aspect of modularity in Islamic architecture through a separate element of the panjara and chosen it to create one of our collections. Thus, we have brought the brutalism that dominated in the architecture of the 1960s-70s to our jewelry.

The pieces are made of 9K yellow gold and embellished with black ebony and mother-of-pearl. They consist of rectangles of 2 sizes - smaller and larger ones.
